SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION

 

Kiwanis Club of Sugar Grove Township is pleased to offer this scholarship for the 2025-2026 school year.   This scholarship will be awarded to a High School senior who exemplifies the values of Kiwanis.  Scholarship amount is $1000.

 

Applicant should be member of Kaneland High School or reside in the Sugar Grove Township, be in good standing and have achieved the required 25 service hours in the school year.

 

Applicant should be a senior and have displayed a commitment to education throughout high school and has an interest in continuing education to obtain an associate or bachelor’s degree or a trade school certification.

 

Preference will be given to the applicant that is passionate about meaningful, active community service.  Preference will also be given to members of the Key Club.

 

 

 

SUBMISSION INFORMATION

 

 

Application, essay, and letters of reference must be submitted by March 1, 2026  

 

Award announcement will be made at Kaneland High School Honors Night (the Thursday before graduation) May 14, 2026. If the Winner does not attend Kaneland High School they will be contacted directly by the Kiwanis Club of Sugar Grove Township.
